At Iron Sharp Designs, we don’t treat our shirts as just products. They’re the canvas that carries the message. Because of that, we’ve chosen materials and printing methods that allow both the quality and the message to stand the test of time.
The Fabric — Soft, Clean, and Built to Last
Our shirts are made using premium Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton.
This process removes more impurities from the cotton fibers, resulting in a fabric that feels noticeably softer, smoother, and more comfortable against the skin. It’s the kind of shirt you can wear all day without thinking about it—and that’s exactly the point.
Most of our shirts are:
- 100% combed and ring-spun cotton (solid colors)
- Heather blends include polyester for added durability
The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and pre-shrunk to help maintain its shape after washing.
The Fit — Designed with Intention
Our shirts use a modern retail fit. That means they are slightly more tailored than traditional, boxy t-shirts.
For many, this creates a clean and flattering look.
For others who prefer a looser or more relaxed feel, sizing up may be the better option.
We always recommend reviewing the size chart before ordering so you can choose the fit that feels right for you.
The Construction — Details That Matter
We choose shirts built with:
- Side-seamed construction for better shape and structure
- Shoulder-to-shoulder taping for durability
- Ribbed collars that hold their form over time
These aren’t just technical details—they’re what keep your shirt fitting well and looking right, even after many washes.
The Print — Made to Last
Every design is printed using high-quality on-demand printing, including advanced direct-to-film (DTF) and direct-to-garment (DTG) techniques.
The printing methods we use are specifically engineered to produce:
- Vibrant, detailed designs
- Strong adhesion to fabric
- Long-lasting prints that won’t easily crack or fade
This allows the message on your shirt to remain just as clear as the day you received it.
Care Instructions
To keep your shirt and its message in the best condition:
- Machine wash cold, inside-out, on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors - Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary
Do not use fabric softeners - Tumble dry low, or hang dry for longer life
- Cool iron inside-out if needed (do not iron directly on the design)
- Do not dry clean
A Note on Transparency
We believe in being honest about what you’re receiving.
Because of the lightweight nature of the fabric, lighter color shirts may appear slightly sheer under certain lighting. This is normal for this type of premium cotton and helps keep the shirt breathable and comfortable.
